Code of Conduct
Graphite requires its customers to operate in accordance with the principles in this code and in full compliance with all laws and regulations. The employees of Graphite will operate with the highest level of integrity, transparency, and compliance within the laws and regulations of the markets Graphite operates in. The Employee Code of Conduct and additional company policies back up these practices. Graphite expects its clients and other entities with which it conducts business (“Clients”) to ensure and apply the same level of commitment towards business practices. This code should be understood as a framework of minimum requirements that are applicable in most situations.
Conduct with Graphite Employees
Graphite prohibits discrimination or harassment of any kind towards any Graphite employee on the grounds of race, color, age, religion or political beliefs, disability or illness, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, class, learning difficulty, appearance or employment status.
Graphite will not tolerate Clients:
- Using foul, abusive or offensive language (verbal or written);
- Making threats or unreasonable demands towards Graphite employees;
- Personally criticizing any Graphite employee;
- Intimidation tactics and/or making threats;
- Malicious or harmful statements about others;
- Public disclosure of another’s private information;
- Any form of harassment
Clients will:
- Always show respect and civility to Graphite employees;
- Inform Graphite employees of needs and changes in circumstances in order to receive relevant service;
- Give advance notice of their service needs to ensure such services can be provided in a timely fashion;
- Allow Graphite employees reasonable time to respond to your request;
- Answer any appropriate correspondence received from Graphite
Ethics
Graphite expects the highest standards of ethical conduct in all our endeavors. Clients shall always be ethical in every aspect of their business, including relationships, practices, sourcing, and operations.
- Integrity. Clients shall not engage in corruption, extortion, embezzlement, or bribery to obtain an unfair or improper advantage. Clients shall abide by all applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations of the countries in which it operates, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and applicable international anti-corruption laws and conventions.
- Conflicts of Interest. Clients shall ensure that they do not create or encourage conflicts of interest. Fundamentally, Clients must not offer any gift or invitation of substantial value to Graphite employees.
- Protection of Intellectual Property. Clients shall respect intellectual property rights and safeguard customer information. Clients shall manage technology and know-how in a manner that protects intellectual property rights.
- Disclosure of Information. Clients shall accurately record information regarding its business activities, labor, health and safety, and environmental practices and shall disclose such information, without falsification or misrepresentation, to all appropriate parties.
- Fair Business Standards. Standards of fair business, advertising and competition are to be upheld.
Management Commitment
Graphite holds our Clients accountable to this Code and all its standards. Clients shall implement or maintain a management system that facilitates compliance with this Code and all applicable laws.
